Assalamualaikum.
Well i'm quite sad right now considering how jobless and pathetic i am currently. Whenever i saw news of people around me getting jobs and are all smiling (and grinning) from ear to ear, i felt really sad and it was like all the hardship to score a good transcript during my degree years just went down the drain. And so i cried. And so i prayed. And so i hoped for the silver lining to appear among the clouds. I hope it will appear soon. InshaAllah.
But i guess there is more to life than just chasing this kind of thing we assumed as 'tool to survive a life'. When i prayed and talked to God, i realized that being panicked over such thing wouldn't be any help, instead i should embrace the difficulties, keep trying and keep talking to God. It helps most of the times if not always.
Work. Career. Job. Etc?
I have some thoughts about working.
Some people have said to me that it is such a waste if i don't push hard in this career thing till the end where the end, according to them, means wealth, money, and more cash, in hand or banked. And also, pushing hard means doing what i don't like, less family time, unfulfilled dreams with my loved ones, more unpleasant pressures, all of which doesn't sound like a life to me. I like works, and i would like to work, and i would love to be able to work enthusiastically, but i would also like to live happily. With that said, i just want to do a job which i can love and not hating my life for it, inshaAllah. In other words, i am thankful for people's thoughts for me, and i shall take the good ones as support and guidance. Thank you so much.
And i will start looking for a job i like again tomorrow. I am not picky, and i know i am just a fresh, local bumiputera uni's graduate, but i am also a human, and every human is unique, God made human that way, and every human has a place somewhere.
Good night. Assalamualaikum.
Aww don't cry Naie sayang... Allah has better plan for you. And i'm sure He will show the path soon. Please don't think that all those years of scoring are useless bcs somehow you've learnt something along the way that inshaAllah will ease you in the future. Allah will reward His servant's hard work and patience. So be a little more patient, pray a little harder, and most importantly, always have confidence in His plan. And true, life has so much more to offer than just a job. So embrace this moment of life where you've got the chance to spend your time with your family bcs there are people out there who have to sacrifice their family time to cari sesuap nasi. Cherish it to the littlest bit okay, smile and say Alhamdulillah. They are after all the greatest blessings.
